Wythe County, Virginia is one of the most scenic counties in Virginia, if not the entire Mid-Atlantic region. We are blessed with the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, the New River (the oldest river in the world except for the Nile and the cleanest in the US), both the New River and Appalachian Trails, the Mt. Rogers National Recreation Area, the dramatic Foster Falls State Park, numerous streams and lush forests, and more quaint country lanes than you can shake a stick at.
It is a county steeped in history dating back to Colonial Days, yet marching steadfastly into the 21st Century. After 35 years in the Washington, DC area, Anne and I are proud to call Wythe County our home.
