In March of this year, I wrote a post entitled “this little feller needs help.” It was about the kitten pictured above and his siblings who were living behind the Ft. Chiswell Laundry Mat.
He no longer needs any help. He was struck and killed last Friday night by someone who didn’t bother to stop. Judging from the speed most cars drive in this location, I suspect that whoever ran over the cat did it on purpose. If there really is a hell, I hope there is a special place for people like you.

thank you for posting that. I hope animal abusers rot in hell
I am so sorry about that sweet little kitty. A similar thing happened to us when my children were young. We fed and cared for a stray cat for many months, but he was hit and killed by a fast-speeding car on our residential street. The driver did not stop. A neighbor gave us the bad news and, sadly, gave us the cat wrapped in a plastic bag. It really affected my very heart-centered son. We buried him in the back yard, and we will always remember him.
